GHD appoints Sindy Yong as Regional General Manager for the Middle East

Sindy Yong appointed Regional General Manager, leading GHD’s Middle East operations with strong regional experience.
Sindy Yong will take on the role of Regional General Manager for the Middle East from 01 July 2026. Sindy brings more than 20 years of professional services experience across the Middle East and Asia, with a strong track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, strengthening client relationships and delivering complex programmes across environment, energy, infrastructure and property and buildings.
Based on her leadership experience in Qatar and the UAE, and her current role as Operations Manager for GHD Qatar, Sindy brings deep regional knowledge,
strong commercial judgement and a disciplined approach to performance, delivery and risk. Her appointment positions GHD to further strengthen its presence across the Middle East region, deepen support for clients and communities, and continue building a high-performing, connected business.
