GHD ranks among U.S. environmental and sustainability consulting leaders
Global professional services company GHD has been ranked 13th in Environment Analyst’s latest U.S. Environmental & Sustainability Consulting Market Assessment.
The report, produced by business intelligence company Environment Analyst, identifies the leading U.S. consultancies in the environmental and sustainability (E&S) consulting sector based on their E&S consulting revenue for the 2024 financial year.
“This recognition reflects the depth of our environmental and sustainability capabilities in the U.S. and the trust our clients place in us to deliver practical, measurable outcomes,” said Chris Hunter, GHD Americas CEO. “Our focus is on helping clients navigate regulatory, technical and sustainability challenges while creating long‑term value for their communities.”
The report is based on data from 29 leading U.S. E&S consulting firms, which collectively account for 78 percent of the U.S. market.
The U.S. environmental and sustainability consulting market has proven more resilient than Environment Analyst forecast in mid‑2025, with activity holding steady despite shifts in federal policy. Rather than slowing, demand has rebalanced across sectors and geographies, supported by ongoing infrastructure pipelines, state‑level regulation and private‑sector investment.
