GHD wins two major Canadian defence contracts worth up to $315 million

GHD, a leading global professional services company, has been selected by Defence Construction Canada (DCC) for two significant standing supply arrangements supporting the Department of National Defence across Canada.

The contracts include a National Multi-disciplinary Architectural and Engineering Consultant Services Source List valued at up to $270 million and a National Civil Engineering Consultant Services Source List valued at up to $40 million. GHD is one of six firms selected for the architectural and engineering contract and one of three firms for the civil engineering contract.

Under these five-year agreements, GHD will provide a full suite of design services for military infrastructure across every province and territory in Canada, including the Arctic. The work will support the modernization of the Canadian Armed Forces through projects involving hangars, aerodromes, training facilities, troop support infrastructure and associated systems.

The wins mark a major expansion of GHD’s Canadian federal defence presence, achieved by adapting the firm’s proven international defence experience to meet Canadian requirements, capitalizing on similarities between defence standards across allied nations.

Services under the contracts include civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical and communications engineering, as well as comprehensive architectural design services for defence facilities nationwide.
